For Immediate Release Mighty Community Group Launches First Mobile Community in New Brunswick (September 24, 2012 MIRAMICHI) — Mighty Community Group (MCG) in Miramichi, NB, has launched a new mobile application for their community web portals product. “With over 13 million smartphones in Canada and growing, we have to position our community to be mobile friendly,” said Terry Matchett, MCG President. “Smartphones are not a fad, this segment isn’t going to go away, and our new application will help the public easily locate what they are looking for using their smartphone.”

To celebrate the launch of New Brunswick’s first mobile community portal, Mobile Miramichi, MCG has partnered with many local restaurants for a contest where one lucky winner will receive a free meal every day for 12 weeks. All entries qualify for the Grand Prize of a Samsung Galaxy S3 Smartphone or Apple iPad 3, to be drawn on December 1st. To enter participants can go to MightyMiramichi.com on their smartphones and click “Enter to Win”. “That’s 84 free meals to be won! And people can enter as often as they wish,” Matchett said. “I encourage everyone to try the mobile portal, check out the restaurants’ daily specials, and explore all the other aspects of the community including shopping, events, accommodations, classified ads and much more.” To find out the daily contest winners like the Mighty Miramichi Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/mightymiramichi) or get in on the Twitter discussion by using #MightyMiramichi.
